Today, Matt and Robin embarrass themselves fully in video format as they try to figure out, Which is Greater? Quadropolis or Suburbia!
Creaking Shelves is on YouTube!
What an adventure this has been! For about the last 18 months, since I wrote my first birthday post and hinted that I might be thinking about making videos, we’ve been working away in the background to put all this together. It took so much more effort than I thought it would, at every stage of the process, and I now have an even greater (grater?) amount of respect for the multiple YouTube personalities who are able to put out top quality content week in, week out.
For us? This is a six episode season to test the waters. We wanted to do something different to the standard reviewer format and I’m so proud that we were able to do that. Even if it took us far longer, the extra effort was worth it. And we had a lot of fun doing it! As you’ll see over the coming weeks, we embraced some silly ideas but hopefully found the right balance with sensible discussion to offer something you, dear reader/viewer, will find entertaining and interesting.
And we want you to play along! For each episode we have chosen two (great!) games we think are similar enough that you probably don’t need both, and argued for why we think one or the other is greater. But what do you think!? Which game do you prefer, and why? Or do you love and own both?
For the next six weeks, we will be posting up a new video every Thursday. Robin is working hard to finish off the editing in the final few videos, and I’m looking forward to next year, to season 2 and other fun ideas! But this is an experiment, and we need for it to succeed if we are going to continue doing this long term, and that means we really need your help!
If you’ve enjoyed our videos then at least subscribe so you don’t miss the next ones! But if you’re willing to go above and beyond, to really help Creaking Shelves make it to the next level, please do consider getting the word out. Share this and future videos.
Thank you so much for reading my scribblings over the years, and now, thank you for watching! On to the next game! 😀
